Hello Hillhurst Families,
We hope you had a great weekend! The snow seems to be on the way again, so please send your child with outdoor gear they will need to enjoy their outdoor time. Our Lost and Found is overflowing with beautiful hoodies, sweaters and jackets! If you are missing items, please feel free to stop by at drop-off or pick-up to look through the items on the main floor. All unclaimed items will be donated by the end of the week.
We’re excited to celebrate October 31 with a special Costume Parade and Pumpkin Patch event during the school day! Here’s everything you need to know:
Costume Parade
Students are welcome to wear their costumes for the day. Classes will be able to share their costumes during a school-wide parade. Please remember that costumes should be school-appropriate: no gore, violence, or weapons. Learning will continue as usual throughout the day, so please factor that into your costume decisions. Of course, costumes are completely optional, and there is no obligation to participate
Pumpkin Patch
We’ll have a Pumpkin Patch display! If your child would like to participate, please send a carved pumpkin in the morning. The pumpkins will be on display throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. Pumpkins will need to travel back home to you at the end of the day. Leftover pumpkins will be composted.

- Nov 6: Photo retake day
- Nov 6: First lockdown practice of the school year (PM)
- Nov 7: Last day of classes before Fall Break
- Nov 7 - 13: No School for Students
- Nov 14: Classes resume
